In the aftermath of the catastrophe, mankind resumed the use of sticks and stones, hunting and gathering like their ancient caveman ancestors. But the civilization of the past has become a prehistoric relic that continues to influence the human race in some corners of the world. Tangie, a wanderer in the wilderness, is guided by civilization to the Elephant Grass Forest with a girl she rescued from a snake, and becomes involved in the struggle for control of the prehistoric ruins.
